Recipe: Christmas bites

Always on the run when it comes to holidays? We get you! Gifts, family at home, kid running around, the cat on the tree (at least twice a day), all of this prevent you from cooking like you wish you would.

Here’s a very simple recipe for you! These Christmas bites made with our pizzas, italian sausages and pulled pork will be a hit. Your guests will love it, and so will you! 

 

Maple mustard

Ingredients

45ml Dijon mustard

30ml maple syrup

15 ml dry mustard

 

Preparation

Mix all the ingredients with a whisk. 

 

Onion jelly

Ingredients

4 red onions, finely chopped

60ml butter

180ml sugar

60ml red wine vinegar

375ml red wine

Salt and pepper. 

 

Preparation

In a pan, soften the onion in butter. Make sure the oven is on HIGH for a good 10 minutes.

Add sugar and red wine vinegar. 

Cook for 10 minutes.

Add red wine and cook on LOW for 1h15, stirring occasionally. 

Salt and pepper. 

There should be no liquid left.
